38 Weeks

Baby Bensema is now considered full term and we are ready for him to make his big appearance!! He is making me swell up quite a bit. As you can see, I can't wear my wedding ring anymore and my ankles are starting to disappear (this has been going on since week 35). The room is ready for him to arrive and so are we.

35 Weeks - Baby Shower

At 35 weeks we had a baby shower hosted by Mitzi, Mary, Lea, LuAnn, Gail, Sharon, & Helen. A bunch of our family came in from Chicago, St. Louis, Des Moines, & Minneapolis for the shower and it was great to hang out for the weekend with them. Baby Bensema got a lot of great stuff!! We can't wait for our family and friends to meet him!

32 Weeks

Baby Bensema is getting pretty big. He weighs almost 4 pounds now (at least according to the average weight of a baby this far along)! He is moving and kicking a ton right now and you can watch him move in my belly whenever I sit still. Dan & I are starting to prepare for him to arrive. We went to a Labor & Birth class all day on Saturday.

Baby Bensema's Nursery!

We had baby Bensema's nursery painted recently. We went with the sports theme for his room, and thought a scoreboard would be fun. Eventually his name will go across the top of it, but that requires us to come up with a name for him. It's starting to look like a baby is going to live here soon!

30 Weeks - Baby Shower

Katie & Andrea threw me a baby shower on July 12th. Look at the picture of the diaper cake... it is great. I don't want to take it apart. They were wonderful hostesses and I had a great time. Baby Bensema is definitely going to be spoiled... he got a lot of great stuff.
